 PRAISE

“David Denny’s poems achieve an honesty and plainspoken grace that is distinctly American.”
–Dorianne Laux, Pulitzer Prize finalist, author of Only as the Day is Long
“I love the hunger in Denny’s poems—the easy deep talk . . . every poem is an akimbo figure in ten directions . . .
what a palette!”
–Juan Felipe Herrera, Poet Laureate of the United States 2015-2017, author of Half of the World in Light
