Sunday, July 9, 11am. I will be reading my poetry as part of the monthly meeting of Sunday Assembly of Silicon Valley.  Masonic Lodge, 890 Church Street, Mountain View.

Saturday, April 22, 2:00 – 3:00pm. I will be giving a craft talk on the interplay between poetry and prose: how writing poems can improve your prose style. Tri-valley Writer’s Conference, Four Points by Sheraton 5115 Hopyard Rd. Pleasanton, CA 94588.

Saturday, March 18, 11:00am – 12:30pm. I will be hosting a reading of local poets in celebration of the annual Saratoga Blossom Festival. Readings by myself, Parthenia Hicks, Ann Muto, and Jade Bradbury in the historic Warner Hutton house, Saratoga Heritage Orchard and Civic Center, 13777 Fruitvale Ave., Saratoga.

Friday, March 17, 7pm. I will be reading with memoirist John Evans as part of the Peninsula Literary Series at Gallery House, 320 California Avenue, Palo Alto. Also included: Terry Adams, Patrick Daly, Charlotte Muse. Artist Rozanne Hermelyn Di Silvestro’s work will be on display. Produced by Carrie Harper Hechtman & Jean Znidarsic.

Sunday, November 6, 2-4pm, Ravenswood House. I will be reading with Joseph Zaccardi, former Poet Laureate of Marin County. Come on out to this historic location at 2657 Arroyo Road, Livermore. Hosted by Kevin Gunn, Poet Laureate of Livermore, California.

Saturday, September 10, 11:00 a.m., Silicon Valley Fall Festival. I will read a poem as part of the opening ceremonies for this annual arts & culture fair at Memorial Park, Stevens Creek Blvd. & Mary Ave., Cupertino.

Sunday, August 14, 11:00 a.m., Sunday Assembly Silicon Valley. I will read a selection of my poems for the Sunday Assembly community. Masonic Lodge, 890 Church Street, Mountain View.

Thursday, May 5, 8:15 p.m.,Poetry Legacy Day” sponsored by San Jose State University, Poets Laureate Reading featuring US Poet Laureate Juan Felipe Herrera, Hammer Theatre Center, Paseo de San Antonio, South 3rd Street, San Jose. I will be one poet among many in a line-up that includes Al Young, Arlene Biala, Stan Garber, Caroline Goodwin, Alejandro Murguia, Amanda Williamsen, and Rachelle Escamilla.

Wednesday, May 4, 6:30 p.m., Bookshop Santa Cruz, 1520 Pacific Avenue. Publication celebration for April issue of Catamaran Literary Reader. I will be reading from my new story, “Leaf, Flower, Boll.” Contributors include Chorel Centers, Richard, Huffman, Frances Lefkowitz, Nils Michaels, Liza Monroy, Dale Pendell, and Vito Victor. Catamaran Issue 13.

Friday, April 29, 7:00 p.m., Festival of the Arts, Bethel Lutheran Church, 10181 Finch Avenue, Cupertino. At a celebration under the theme, “Let Your Light Shine,” I will read three original psalms and the opening of my short story, “Which Nazi Are You?” Festival includes multi-generational music, bell choir, visual art, and poetry.

Saturday, March 19, 11:00 a.m., Blossom Festival, Saratoga Heritage Orchard and Civic Center (next to the Saratoga Public Library). Reading with poets Nils Peterson, Mary Lou Taylor, and Parthenia Hicks.
